LENNY DI LORENZO

I am a Fine Art photographer who had the opportunity to work in the corporate sector for renowned companies and establishments: Trustpilot, PDS Health (USA), Gaggia UK, Bar Italia Soho and Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club to name but a few.
The wealth of experience accumulated prompted me to found Peacture Photography Productions, a photography service provider for the business world and a platform for photography as a modern art form, where the 3 words defining the image creation process: React, Create and Capture, blend into the final "Peacture", a misspelling of "Picture".

I received my formal training at an early age from my Grandfather (a Director Of Photography in movies and documentaries) and I was later trained as a composer and musician, graduating from the Luca Marenzio Music Conservatory of Brescia, Northern Italy.
I started my professional journey into audiovisual production at the age of 22, working as the in-house composer for Swiss television and film production company Polivideo SA, spending a lot of time in the editing suite alongside directors and film editors.
Later in life, after moving to London, my meeting with British photographer and now friend Mark Edwards OBE (Hard Rain Project, Christiania) has also contributed to furthering my knowledge and artistic taste in image creation.

My Fine Art work is now represented by the Galerie Goutal of Aix En Provence (France) and by the Ahmad Shariff Art Gallery of Claremont (California).

Over time, I have handled important responsibilities and image creation assignments, including being hired to photograph former US President George W. Bush in a formal private setting in 2022, Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo in 2024 and capturing corporate events produced by Robert Mark Kalfin at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

My fine art photography work has developed itself through the admiration for the imagery of the great Italian film directors Federico Fellini, Ettore Scola and Mario Monicelli, as well as the artistic education I have absorbed in my family environment thanks to my Stepfather, an established Italian architect.
My vision attempts to blend Neo-realism and Surrealism by constantly searching for cinematic and oneiric atmospheres, faces and characters in everyday life.

Aside from image creation, I also have many years of experience in music composition and audio production.
Amongst many other works, I am the composer of the orchestral suite "Dream of An Astronaut", originally commissioned in 2009 by the music department of the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), of the official anthem of the Italian Paralympic Swimming Federation (FINP) and author of "Spaghetti West End - The Legend Of Vinnie Saint", a radio musical drama set in 1968 Soho which was well received amongst the London community and featured on BBC Radio London.
